With a rich history, art and culture, and a beautiful diverse countryside.
This region really does have everything to offer!

|
Tuscany's beautiful landscape
In the picturesque countryside the gently flowing vin yard hills of the
Chianti, the green valleys, cypresses and olive trees interchanged with
the middle ages settlements and beautiful, ancient towns and villages.
But Tuscany also has mountains and woods, a long coast line with rocky
and sandy beaches and lovely resorts such as Viareggio, Castiglione della
Pescaia or Porto Santo Stéfano.

|

|
Cradle of the Renaissance
This region is, besides the beautiful scenery, also world famous
for its art and history. Tuscany - and especially Florence - is
the cradle of the Renaissance, with artists as Brunlleschi, Donatello
and Masaccio.
|
Tuscany - Art and Culture
Art treasures - from different periods - can be found all over. Just
take the beautiful city of Florence, the capital of Tuscany, with its
exceptional wealth of monuments, art and architecture. A must for visitors
to Tuscany! And not to be forgotten, places and towns such as Siena, Volterra,
Lucca or Pisa.
If you prefer an active holiday in the nature, there are opportunities
enough. Water sport, walking, cycling, horse riding, gold and delta-flying.
Tradition in Tuscany
The Tuscany inhabitants are proud of their history and maintain
many old traditions, wine feasts and gastronomical events. The Italian
people spend a lot of time on food, in this region too you can enjoy
the excellent cuisine. Local dishes such as "Fiorentine"
